I am revisiting using @NinjaTrader as my primary analytics platform. I have a question for @Fat Tails concerning the definition of "inside bar" in the indicator fxAuctionBarsMTF or about my application use. In the chart below it seems like there are bars being identified as "inside bars" that are clearly not. It is likely that I will have more questions about this beautiful piece of work, is there an existing thread that would be better for that?

there are some bars that ARE inside bars but they are colored as "small body" bars. Could I be looking at a "new" user manual, but an old version of the indicator?

- small body / doji bars = bars with a small body (< 0.25 * average range)
- inside close bars = bars which are not small body bars and close inside the range of the prior bar
- auction bars = bars with a significant range (and other properties) which close outside the range of the prior bar
- thrurst bars = bars which closes outside the range of the prior bar and which are not auction bars
I think your question relates to small body bars which are inside close bars at the same time.
These bars are shown as small body bars rather than as inside close bars. I did not want to create a new category for those bars as they are not that meaningful. In your mind you identified inside close bars first and small body bars second. I did it the other way round.

When I get the updated version running I will look at inside bars again. If the display is still the same where I have questions about display of inside bars, I will post pictures with specific questions about indicated bars.
Thank you for responding to the initial question...and my e-mail.
