Hey Guys. The question, really for Mike...but as he requests I'm using the forum to talk about something that is on my mind. The past year, and especially the last 6 weeks, many things have become abundantly clear (not clearer, but clear), meaning that I feel like I can talk about them with near certainty. I'm thinking about starting a new journal type thread where I could share with complete transparency, my views and my experience concerning creating wealth via the financial markets. Of course the "fail" or "useless" please learn from my mistakes chapters FAR outweigh the THIS IS IT that everyone is looking for.
I am NOT looking for a following or seeking anything. I'm simply thinking about being an available resource for people that are trying to do well and frankly have no real advocate in the marketplace. If I have a thread then I have some editorial control and I think having all the wldisims going forward in a single place would be helpful.
I guess I'd treat that thread like a blog. One that could stay focused and valuable. I'd probably start with a series on my progression that would end with what I have working now, and why I think I have "it".
The journey has been long, really long. Ive failed a lot...and sometimes really big. Thus I'd consider it a blessing to return value to folks(if they will listen) so that maybe they could suffer less and "make" more through considering something that was part of my hallucination along the way.
Indicators, settings, time frame, methods, strategies, price action , risk management...all of it open for discussion and expose.
Is that a thread the membership would be interested in? How do I start a new journal thread?
Dan

Dan,
Of course your experience will be hugely valued by many here.
As to 'how-to', you can simply select one of either choices:
https://futures.io/trading-journals/ <------ this is open to anyone (remember what this option entails)
or
https://futures.io/elite-trading-journals/ <----------- this is restricted to Elite-only
Once you click on either of the two, you then click on the New Thread button in the left side of the screen and you're good to go.
I look forward to reading!

We've got to stop doing the same things at almost the same times.
You were faster again. But I have pictures.

Yes, it will be very helpful for new traders. I`m two years work under this question, time to time change format and standard for journal. At this moment I think only on half way in this way.
Good luck!

So, I spoke with @Devil Man and some things he said encouraged me to decide that this new journal project is something that I want to do. Maybe I can get to it this week, but by next week for sure.
