Probably not...not based on how I manage my trades.
But to really answer it I would need to know the rationale of the entry and what type of methodology is being used.
It may be a valid trade depending on the methodology?

A better question...
Why would you have even taken a short trade there?

Seems like a very poor entry location short.

The trading methodology predicts entry and exit with over 70+% accuracy. Some trades will loose. This one missed my stop by pips.

My guess is the system was correctly short, but the entry was poorly timed. Thoughts?

G=1:2 is correct for this signal.

In your opinion can a 1:2 work?

This is a back test that I'm considering for live trading. That was the worst trade out of sample.

A poor entry point indeed! My system predicted a downturn, thus the short entry.

What would cause the market briefly increase before the major price decrease. If I can identify the cause of the price drop delay, then I can also delay entry.

Any advice is appreciated!

Define 'accuracy'.
