Multiperiod Candles for NT8

Just upgraded to NT8
has anyone seen or use Multiperiod Candles for NT8

or is willing to help me convert the NT7 version I really miss using them

im not sure exactly what you mean here,do you have a pic of your old bars?

if you want multi period, go into Data Series, and add the intrument .You will now have essentially two of the same instrument here.Just change the time frame on the added instrument.

I do this to have indicators for different time frames on the same chart.For example, i put up a 30 min candlestick chart.Then, I add a 5min chart and set it to LOC, in the same panel.Then i set the color of the 5min to transparent.This gives me the ability to put 5min indicators on a 30 min chart.

Hope this helps.This works on NT8 fine

thanks for the reply,not what i'm after but i've done the same as you mention above
however this indi simply draws a candle around a set period of bars say 10 3 min bars and will print a candle around the group of 3min bars = to a 40min bar, it also maps out the RHT period against the ETH period in a manner you mention above and provides an inside look at the higher time frame on the same chart, there is one i've been using on NT7, really miss it,

keeps things together clean and separates the sessions

ok, I remember these.I used them a ways back with nt7.I believe Fat Tails coded this.

hey @Fat Tails have you created a NT8 version of this indi?

i searched and searched, i know it's old but i love it,

would it at least be an easy indi to convert with the NT forum support?

I had coded multi period boxes for NinjaTrader 7. See chart below.

This indicator is not yet converted to NinjaTrader 8.

What you can do, is to use a secondary bar series and overlay it in box style, see chart below.

It is not exactly the same thing but comes close.

Fat Tails i would pay for it to be converted (not asking you to do it ) can you provide an approximate amount of time to convert this indi to NT8 or an approx cost would be appreciated too.,

can you recommend anyone ?!
