Best trading strategy and methodology for 2019

Hi guys,

New poll added:

Best trading strategy and method for 2019 (select multiple)

What is the best trading strategy and methodology for 2019?

Please vote and discuss. If your method isn't listed in the poll, please add it here in the thread.

Mike

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

"Best" or "What do you use"?
If you haven't extensively traded all methods you can't know which is best!

I'd like to know how is "strategy" defined here. Some of the techniques or methods listed in the poll don't fit my definition of strategy, which is a specific set of rules to determine when to buy/sell, and possibly (in addition to) a set of rules to determine position size.

while order flow / tape is what we have to use...

I voted "Something Else" because the best strategy is to have a bug in the conference room at 33 Liberty Street, NYC.

Or to hear what instructions they give to Citadel.

Intel is auctioning their highest end processors to Financial Services not Retail so the game continues to be challenging.

yes - all the above

watching order flow on the DOM, all while watching trend lines, moving averages, swings, previous low/high, volume spikes, on tic, 1 min, 3 min, 30 min chart - discretionary scalping the pulses that appear around identifiable context patterns, you get a feel for it, you get a sense of being in the market current

Trading Strategy

Combination of TPO analysis, Indicators, candlesticks, and trendlines (including patterns)
finding this volatility and today's indecisive action a challenge
