It would probably be best for you to show how you trade and ask for suggestions to improve.
Or check out some of the webinars and journals from traders here.

Many types of trading can be profitable.
The answer to your questions is yes and no.
But it could also be MAYBE.

When you say Day Trading, I think you mean opening and closing a trade within the same day.

Do you also mean trading a trend following strategy every day?

I saw an article in Stocks and Commodities Mag in October about 'Trend is your Friend'
Perhaps that will answer your questions since you have not given much information about what you seek.

Depends on strategy, instrument, timeframe /experience. Trend strategy plenty out there, experience you have to gain it, preferably first in demo until you master it. Instrument and timeframe you can do research which seasonalities when trend is best

Sure. But trends happen, and end, much more quickly on an intraday basis.

So the actual issue is much more your own preferred time horizon, and your willingness to move quickly, than it is the particular type of strategy you use. Anything that works on a longer timeframe can be scaled down to a shorter one, but everything will move much more quickly, and so will your profit and loss. The greater issue with shorter-term trading is whether you can manage your own responses to rapid price movement, and this will apply to any trading method.

Bob.
