That isn't too thin i.e. oil.. NQ? Corn? I want to move away from bonds but I feel the ES may be too tricky in the long run.

The grains (Corn etc), have high exchange fees at $3.90 compared to $2.36 for ES/NQ for example which can add up depending on how frequently you are scalping.
Also they are only actively traded from planting through to harvesting but not during the other months of the year, so I have heard anyway as I haven't traded them myself.

You do not win as a trader, you just get to play again the next day. If that game doesn’t appeal to you then you should not trade. Gary Norden

depending on volume I will sometimes place a few trades, normally it is right after the pit session. I try to be out of all trades by 920 am est. If there is a lot of news I've even traded during Asian session and London session but its slow and not really worth it in my opinion.
