95% of trading is in your head
4% edge
1% luck ( this can be argued +/- )
one of the only professions I know where you are constantly at battle with your brain and emotions.
Like mlm said... trading is easy any one can be a button pusher and if you have a decent edge then you only need to win a few if you keep your losses small... its that simple K.I.S.S

Yes you are gambeling, because you have no idea what is going on.
If you are average in trading you are losing money. Breakeven traders are losing traders.
I had a very good week.. lets see if I can keep it up.. I ve learnt that everything u said is true.. its not the market im against.. its myself n only I can dig this grave of roses hahaha
Its taken some time, but no trading is not hard. Finding and edge is the hard part. A good edge should have a defined SL, TP, and sometimes have a solid trailing strategy. There should be no emotions at all. No guessing. No hunches. For me, the edges I have found involve price action. My best involves only price action and Volume. I'm sure there are better and I will always be looking for them. Good luck finding yours.
I think the opposite of everything you wrote:
Trading and money are coincidental. If one is difficult the other will be difficult. If one is easy the other will be easy.
Your perceptual system is moderated by dopamine, all decisions have an emotional element.
Its all guessing unless you can predict the future.
Edges are here today and gone tomorrow.
It can be easy if you take steps to make it so. Thats the hard part
