Well now that all depends.

Do you want it bar by bar, with time increments marked on the x axis. like this page.....

FL's monkey traders

What if the market goes up and down 1000 points? Won't price roll off the edge?

Or maybe you want it in excel format, date in column 1, hour in column 2, open, high low close?

And then what will y'all do with all that info?

Hi mm
thanks for the reply, i do want it bar by bar and yes i have wondered about the page size but software would allow you to shrink or expand to fit paper/roll size i assume, if you consider the roll being say 800mm for example,

the Fl monkey was interesting , never seen data like that before, what do they do?? do you use them or have contact with them??

I want to scroll through and mark up the paper with a strategy, if i could do it with software i would then print it but i think it i may see & learn more this way

Not really what you are asking for, but how about printing the bars on standard A4 sheets and taping them to a wall with a bit of Y-scale shift to each so that they match up. That would also give you a nice birds-eye view of the larger movements.

Hi Angelo,

i thought to do this in the same way, but with single large sheets at per day base. But if have discarded that idea, because it's a waste of time and paper. If you want to include some indicator data too, it's not possible after the printing anymore. And you will.

I suggest to make Imagefiles per Day (several ways to do it - but let that do automatically, because you want to update the Images to include new parameter or new days). Then use a good image-viewer like "Fastpictureviewer" to scroll thru your data. Because you are using image files you can do this everywhere (PC, Laptop, Tablet).

The 2. solution is to stay within your trading solution and invest in a few tools to make the browsing enjoyable. Tools like "Jump a Day Ahead/Back", "Next Page / Page Back", "Jump a week" or "Using the center of my Chart and jump a day ahead or back". Thrust me, it's much more valuable comparing to stare at static printed bars.
