I see no file in downloads named DoubleMAPaint.
I have DoubleMA.
Would it be possible instead of taking screenshots of settings to post a template file?
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\templates\Chart\Templatename.xml
Its much easier.

so ive been playing around with the new dma and i changed my setting from 16 zero lag 16 zero lag to 20 zerolag 20 zero lag it gives me better entries at the white dots"consolidation points" so have fun and let me know how you guys like this one better or worse...sharky
RodS. Poocher is spot on. The problem is on the ADXVMA.
Regarding the ES it works but you've got to be real careful to make sure the market is trending on a larger timeframe and not choppy at all or else you'll get whipsawed like crazy. Also, need to use a reasonable sized stop. I've been applying it to the 6E with a fair amount of success. Maybe check that out.
The difference between the old and new ADXVMA is that the old has CalculateOnBarClose = true; and the new one has nothing.
I am not sure why everyone tries to put everything on COBC false all the time, they are always looking for that 'edge'... I never use that so never saw this problem.
Anyway, can be fixed by editing ADXVMA and adding back the CalculateOnBarClose = true; at the top in Initialize, or like you said just download a diff version.
