Hi Wizard, I am using your HG setup and its aweful good with the actual high vola!
I thougt of a special indicator to have one more to affirm a trendchange:
with the Range bars you can see that at trendchanges normally the speed is going up which meens that the time to bild a bar is getting shorter. I think the time of each bar could be plotted as a histogramm and give a hint to the underlying forces of the market.
I also guess that it will be only of inerest in the normal market hours. My ability to program such a thing is zero, so what is your tinking about it? Rgards Wolfsch

Try this. It works on range bars and appears to work on renko, but I don't use renko so I'm not sure.

I am NOT a programmer so there are no guarantees implied or expressed or hinted at or even thought of .

TMFT,

Quickly, could you point me to the SlingShot v2 that you have on your screenshot above? Thanks!

TMFT,

The zip contains the slingshot and the TriggerLines indicators that Paint the Price bars according if price is above ,below or between the lines. If Close[0]>Open[0], the bar is hollow.

I wrote these versions for a request in...

with a lot of code I learned from The Wizard.

No problem.

There are no magic indicators ... just ones that help you trade your trading plan and the ones that don't.

Apologies in advance if I'm missing something obvious. I've searched through this thread and just can't find an answer. I guess once a thread gets this huge, it's just that much harder for a relative newbie to separate the real stuff from the conversational back-and-forth.

Wizard, I've downloaded the xml template files for both Holy Grail and Holy Grail 090909. I'm not entirely sure what the difference is between the two (seems like it's something that's already been discussed but I just can't find it), but that's another issue. My problem here is that I loaded the template and got nothing but red and white price bars. So I dug further and saw that each time you or someone else posted indicator zip files, they were deleted later on. More digging...I found indicator packages in the Downloads section (6E and d9PhaseShift) and grabbed them. Tried installing, got Ninja "programming error" messages. I am officially clueless now...what have I missed? Where did I screw up? Please advise at your convenience, and apologies again if I've somehow missed the forest for the trees.

Gary, No problem. I got your email, too & sent you all the files & sounds & the chart template for HolyGrail 091209 - one of the last Holy Grail setups I was using.

After all, it's what you learn AFTER you know it all, that counts!
