narrow range = narrow SMI's histogram, filter them out, this SMI_K has chop filter, the back ground turns white when the histogram is within the range. You can turn it plots to transparent so it won't overlay other SMI2's plots.
ps. look for chopfilter in the setting.
roadshow, I never tested it on any chart less than 5 minute. I think 1 min chart is way too fast for my indicators. Try 6 range, 8 range or 12 range. I know it takes a long time and you must have patience, but in the long run it will be less costly for you an trying to use the HolyGrail to trade a 1 min chart.
After all, it's what you learn AFTER you know it all, that counts!
Wizard, you are one of the main reasons why I just became a donor here at the forum. No, I haven't seen your indicator/strategy yet -- I'll grab it later -- but that's not the point here, in any case -- the POINT is that truly original, truly creative, and truly unique thinking is a TRULY rare thing -- and it's exactly what good traders need more of, and desperately seek to find. I don't even care if your Holy Grail works, I just want to see some original insights into the functioning of the markets, if you can dig that. Anyhow, Wizard, I just became a donor here, and your thread here (and your other posts) is what led me to do that. L-O-V-E your contributions here on the forum, my friend... just LOVE what you're offering to everybody.
