The way I see it the indicators don't add to the confusion, they clarify the chart for me. For me, the indicators are just another graphical representation of price action. I've heard of those who can actually trade a bare-naked chart - just based on price action. I'm not one of them. I need more reassurance/confirmation. It's just a different approach. I've tried this on the TF 233 tick & it seems to work fairly reliably. I can't say that it will work for all time frames or all instruments. My data feed is from Interactive Brokers, perhaps that (based on your earlier comment to another member) is why it seems to work for me. Should I change to Zen-fire, I may find that this fails horribly, but for now I'm going to stick with it & see where it takes me. I was just a little elated & wanted to share it with others. No one is under any obligation to try my setup or risk their hard-earned $$. In fact, I would encourage others to try this setup, if they see fit, in SIM mode ONLY to see if they think it's right for them. Aside from this forum, I'm on my own as I have no one to talk 'day-trading' with or share any ideas or get any feedback. I appreciate all the comments / interest, as I feel it helps to give me purpose. We all have a need to be needed & I'm definitely no exception. Thanks for your comments. I am not offended.

appreciate your reply Wizard, it's stuff like this that makes trading so great... the fact that different methods and opinions can all be profitable

i completely agree with you... trading is a lonely world, there more ppl there are to bounce ideas off of, the better...

I just posted the TEMPLATE file for the indicators. Apply it to your screen & see how it works for you. I'm not sure what you mean when you say "How do you interpret indicators in panel 1" ?

TheWizard,

Charts looks nice. Thanks for doing this and sharing.

I did make a couple of quick changes for my own perferences. Changed right side margin from 10 to 20. eliminate indicators overlap issue panel 1.

panels 2 and 3, changed from hash 80 to bar 11. No more sizing panels to hash bars height.

Overall, a really really good job.

Thanks again,

RJay

Look at the post from 11:29 am today for the latest .zip file of indicators & the chart template.

I've attached a screen shot of what it should look like (from today's trading session).

If after importing the indicators & chart template & applying the template - yours still doesn't look like this (TF on a 233 tick chart), email me a screen shot of your chart & I'll take a look to see if I can determine the cause of the difference in appearance).

Keep in mind the C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents is only for XP. Vista/Seven would be C:\Users\<username>\Documents.

Thanks Mike!

I have a PC at home running Vista, but couldn't remember where the template lived. Thanks for contributing this in case others out there are running Vista. This will help let them know where to put the template.
