Check post # 279. It contains Rjay's "fixed" bar indicators.

After all, it's what you learn AFTER you know it all, that counts!

Hi TheWizard

So what do you think of the non repainting indicators, do they work for you TheWizard?

Take care

Rjay seems to have addressed the problem & found a solution. Honestly, I haven't spent much time testing them since he came up with the fix. I'm scheduled for surgery this week & everything that involves has been consuming much of my time & thought processes. I hope to be back 'on the grid' in a couple of weeks. Good luck to all of you!

One download can wreck thru overwriting, a lot of creative work.

Thanks RJay.

BTW I should have used new post. My input was not specifically addressed to you.
I thought this busy thread was a good place to again address the issue of modifying indicators.
I was concerned about an outbreak of non-renamed modified indicators if users were commenting out certain parts of indicator code without renaming them. With NT it is so easy to spread your indicators (without even realizing/remembering that you changed something) and unintentionally create a mess for other users by breaking strategies/charts etc.
Your quote says it very well.
