plus 11 points LIVE today. wiz next time your in Pittsburgh i got a drink with your name on it

Congratulations! I'm originally from the Pittsburgh area (Washington, PA). I may take you up on that offer if I'm back that way (still have a brother living in WashPa). If you don't mind me asking, what broker are you using (& are you satisfied) & what data feed & chart time-frame.

I've been using IB, but am thinking of switching to Mirus Futures with Zen-fire data feed. Just trying to get a feel for what others are using & their level of satisfaction. Thanks!

I altered the settings of the LBR310 indicator in an effort to give a little advance warning of when a change in direction might occur, although this results in a lot of 'false positives' so to speak. I've attached a screenshot of the TF for this morning with BOTH settings (3,5,10 & 3,16,10) so you can see the differences. I'll leave the 3,16,10 on my chart for today & see how it plays out. Basically, I use all the indicators together. When the DMAP bars are blue and the SMI2 is blue & above it's gold signal line & the LBR310 dot is Green and above it's blue signal line it indicates a possible long. I look to see how close the green LBR310 dot is to the zero line, too. If it's really far away, I wait until it closes in on the zero line & then take another look at the other indicators to see if they confirm a long. Reverse is true for shorts. I'll take a look at the link you referenced. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply.
I saw your attached picture's LBR310 setting is 3,16,10. But The default setting for LBR310 should be 3,10,16; not 3,16,10.

I just went with whatever defaults the indicator showed when I added it to the panel. I'll try 3,10,16, but when I installed the indicator & when you first add it to your chart, the defaults that show are 3,16,10. Maybe it was coded with incorrect defaults. I've attached a screen shot of me adding it as a new indicator to a new chart. I got it off the Forum that way.

I also attached a screenshot comparing the different settings of the LBR310 indicator. The only thing I notice about the 3,10,16 is the ZeroLine cross is a bit lagging. No other major differences. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

Nathan,

I visited the blog. Nice work! Nice commentary on the charts & entry & exits, too. Thanks for the plug!

I think LBR310 is not a leading indicator. I feel this indicator is used to find some pattern. According to LBRgroup's lecture, it can be used in the first cross buy pattern. Please check the attached files for that pattern.
