I totally agree with amoeba.Ib charts are not bad, they are tragical. But IB have commission which is 40% lower then lowest what AMP could offer,so I was using ...CFD based chart. This was best time based chart I find, almost exactly like CQG exept that it is totally for free.Only two weak points - no volume charts and you need another account at another broker.

and issue with session times (sessions are not reported correctly, issue with sunday/monday)

Provide the details about this and we will see if we can implement a solution.

HI SierraChart,

I believe you have already done as much as possible re; https://www.sierrachart.com/SupportBoard.php?ThreadID=20647

It is an issue with the way CQG is reporting the data over sunday/monday.

According to Sierra the limited histry is not a limitation any longer, and the session times issue has been addressed .

Thanks,

AMP supports mini Nikkei index on Osaka Exchange, and it works in Sierra charts etc... but Ninjatrader does not support historical data for this instrument as of yet, so we need to request they start supporting it.
Apparently you can activate saving historical data in NT7, but I have not managed to get it right yet.
You can see the prices in the DOM but not in a chart yet. The limitation is on NTs side and not on AMP apparently.
I am still researching this and waiting for replies from both AMP and NT.

warcious, Have you had any further luck establishing a workable setup to trade mini-Nikkei through NT7? This is something I would like to achieve a workable setup on as well.

Hello Fellow Traders,

Is anyone trading mini Nikkei Futures on Osaka exchange through Ninjatrader 7?
I have a datafeed from AMP/CQG but unfortunately Ninjatrader 7 does not support historical data for this Future instrument MJNK (Amp), JNM (NT7), and I do not get any chart data. I can only see data in the DOM.
Does anybody have historical data for this instrument to share, or know how I could be potentially trading it using a 15 min chart in Ninjatrader 7?

All advice is highly appreciated!

I have spoken to NT7 and they have a request list with everyone that would like them to add MJNK (JNM) to their list for supported Futures. I suggest everyone in this forum starts sending them requests to add the 2 Futures from Osaka exchange that have better liquidity then ES apparently.

You can use the template below:
E-mail: [email protected]

Dear Ninjatrader,

Please kindly add me as a requester to add mini-Nikkei (JNM) and Nikkei (N225) from Osaka exchange to your supported Futures with historical data.
As your trusted and preferred platform supporter and user I would appreciate if you made it possible for me and other to trade this instrument.
Thank you!

Sincerely,
Your Full Name

Hi Warcious, Solomon here again! Just sent the request to NT
