No more laptops on board of planes coming from EUROPE landing in USA.
The US government plans to enlarge the rule for several muslim airports
to ALL European airports as well.

What does it mean in reality?
• business people will no longer like to fly to USA - doing only video conferences
• normal families will not take any flight for holidays to the US
It means: USA will be skipped for holiday plans as well as for business flights.
Maybe only the private jet business will see some positive development.

Who wants to leave the laptop at home while leaving the country? Which passenger
wants to pack laptop and camera into the baggage that is note well handled before
a start and after landing? Maybe the luggage is not delivered at the final airport?

Even the low prices for flights to US cities from Europe will not be THE argument
when such ridiculous rules for passenger "protection" are applied.

Just choose another continent to fly to!

Good flight!

There are many walls in the world.

Trump wants to build some more with US force under the theme "self protection":
• a real one between Mexico
• some virtual ones between Europe, Canada, China and more with business barriers
and special high taxes for imported items
• virtual ones for flight passengers (muslim countries, Europe and soon the rest of the world)

All those walls are not making any future brighter.

As Richard Waters, bassist and vocalist of british Rock Band Pink Floyd said:
"Walls will never die"

A quick survey in Switzerland from 2 large newspapers yesterday to the question:

"Will you fly to USA in the future for holiday or business reason given new laptop/tablet/cam circumstances?"

More than 50% of the readers said:

NO - never ever

Make America small again

I think that if the line in the sand between visit or not USA or any other country is if you can board your laptop then USA(or any other country) have for sure a very serious problem to solve.

So pull the hard drive from your 'EU' laptop & leave it there, take said hard drive to US, buy a used Thinkpad for $50 on eBay or some pawn shop, insert hard drive, problem solved.

But nah you're right, this regulation will probably implode the US economy...pride goeth before the fall & all that shite.

Just make sure you put a password on the bios before placing it in luggage. Since now one can use it without bios password.

This just can't and won't happen. The effect on business class travelers would be bad enough. Factor in the fact that most airlines will likely move to a bring your own device setup, rather than depending on the little TV sets in the back of the chair, and we're talking about significant financial impact.

The US president is proud to shoot against the press and shouting about fake news.

But he is most proud to present his head on a cover of the TIME magazine - which never
existed - to show them in his golf resorts: all fake Mr. president!

The solution is simple. Just stay where you are. We have enough Left-wing Trump haters here already. WE NEED MORE WALLS.
