Thanks guys!
I'm slightly partial to the format of the Econoday calendar, but the forexfactory calendar is more comprehensive to me.

Thank you for your answer stoicbuddha
I was more referring from a programmatic perspective if I want to disable my trading strategy during times of important news. I need to know which calendar is best to work towards.

I have seen many sites that use the forexfactory data, so I believe you can find a way to use that more than any other one that may be available. In my programming experience I have used python to pull different kinds of market data using parsing. I am not sure what language you are using, but I'm sure you could do the same.

I think the forexfactory, investing or macrospike calendar will do just fine.

ForexFactory news calendar.
Someone named Hanover actually created Plot News mt4 indicator . But it comes with an independent news downloader that can scrape the entire calendar data and put it into csv format. Runs on any windows computer (or perhaps in a wine bottle), and can be run independent of the indicator.
I also heard about econoday.

forexfactory.com by far...
That is what I was using until I saw trading economics yesterday. It offers way more events that forexfactory didn't mention.

They all still exist. Econoday just changed their URL https://us.econoday.com/byweek.asp?cust=us
