I am looking to start overnight spread trading. The problem I came across is a lack of a futures platform that would automatically liquidate all positions as soon as PnL reaches a specified loss value.

Does anyone know a platform that would allow this?

This line of code works with CQG (either QTrader or the more expensive IC) products

OTE(@,"<account number>",CURRENT) <= MaxLoss

MaxLoss is a parameter I defined, so as not to hardcode a maximum loss into the condition - you can change the parameter to whatever you want.

By inserting that condition into an 'alert trigger' and setting the alert trigger to Liquidate whenever that condition is met does the trick for me.

Many thanks. Do you know if this works even when CQG QTrader is not running?

NinjaTrader is capable of doing this with some custom programming.

I may be wrong but I don't believe so, I think that specific code wouldn't work if the platform is not running.

Why not trade on CQG Q Trader spreads that are recognized by the exchange and set risks on each spread?
You can pull one quote that where you just trade the spread.

I would advise you against programming on a portfolio of spreads if you are not looking supervise it and walk away.
