Looking for advice on trading set up for JIGSAW Sim trading
Apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong place, as I'm new to the site I thought it best to ask here. I'll try and keep it brief but essentially I'm coming from a background of chart based trading strategies and have recently been looking at trading Order Flow with Jigsaw.
I'm not looking to trade live anytime soon but have an aspiration to do some SIM trading before looking at the Combine TST route. I've purchased Jigsaw and have just finished a demo with Ninja where I was just watching the market and not looking at doing any trades. What I'd like to know is what's the best route to be able to get set up for SIM trading using the Jigsaw DOM.
I'm looking at using Tradervue to log trades but am unsure what datafeed to go for or if I need the subscription with Jigsaw to trade via their DOM.
Thanks for any help or tips - at the moment I'm looking at US Tresuries as the ES is a bit quick for me at the minute.
Cheers.
Trambo.

The jigsaw live trading subscription allows you to enter trades by clicking on the Jigsaw DOM. So you might want to use the Jigsaw DOM for all its wonderful features, and also have the Ninjatrader DOM open to actually enter the trades. Once you're trading live though I highly suggest entering your trades on the Jigsaw DOM.
You can just create another ninja demo account by using a different email to sign up. Sticking periods in your gmail address is a common tactic. However, I would think of the TST combine as just a paid simulator subscription. When you factor in what you pay for data feeds and so forth you'll find that you might as well just start the TST combine, even if you don't think you'll pass it yet.
Just an FYI - trading SIM and trading combines does not attract any live trade fees in Jigsaw.
I've never done a like for like comparison of the SIM fills on competing platforms - just on the data feed and CQG demo came out on top - but I've talked to them & there's no way to get that for more than a few weeks at a time.
For various reasons, we are putting SIM functionality into the stand alone version of Jigsaw and the plan is to make that close to the way that CQG Demo simulates fills.
