I like using the ema set at 0.1 entering in the close for what ever bar/time period you choose, with a stochastic 10.
Price is above and bounces off the ema 0.1, ema slope is + for long, stochastic is almost 0 with an up tic. The settings and indicators are NOT magic. The magic is in their application. It takes practice. It is just like mastering a video game, or anything else. I remember how hard Halo was. As in the first Halo.
Ema set at 0.1 is about a 20 period, and sto 10 is about a 10 period. Indicators are set at a long and short periods. Simple, just like Samurai swordsmanship.
In "HOW I MADE $1,000,000 TRADING COMMODITIES LAST YEAR",By Larry Williams, the technique was highs or lows happen 1.28 times the distance between the last two high or low. Buy or sell depends on the stochastic. Pretty simple?
