I am looking for other traders who are starting out with DOM reading the Eurex (or would like to start out.) I am going to be pretty specific here. I have been going through the DOM reading material made available by John Grady. He did a webinar for BMF some time ago which you can search for and watch. I would like to collaborate with someone who is anywhere from green to not quite over the profitability hump (or profitable if you would like connect.)

I think it would be best if you also were learning with his material. I have no financial interest in John's courses and I am not promoting them. I just like the material and think it is legitimate, unlike most of the other crap out there.

I have a good broker with very low data fees and I am willing to make suggestions there in.

I am thinking colleagues, partners in crime, trading friends. Not so much mentors / protege, teacher student, etc. If you want to discuss further, let me know.

D

Hi damienmb. I have started with DOM reading not too long ago. I have targeted 2 products for learning: EuroStoxx 50 on Eurex and T-Notes (10 yr US treasuries) on CBOT. Right now I am focussing on EuroStoxx.

I too have gone (and continue to go) through both John Grady's and Peter Davies' material. I keep going back to both set of videos for reinforcement and to catch more nuances about what they say. Both sets of material are very good in my opinion.

I trade off CQG Qtrader and use tradefutures4less/Dorman Trading as broker.

What trading platform are you using?

I tried to send you a private message but it appears I have not been active enough on this site. Funny...I have been reading posts on BMF for years. Can you send me a private message.

Thanks

Today in Eurostoxx 50 leading to cash market close there have been several attempts to break the low which was reached on 'Black Monday', i.e. the in-famous 24th August last year. Price going back there today was probably helped by a number of negative data releases from the US.

If China continues the rut chances are we'll go below that level next week. I've seen a few articles about how some analysts are predicting another market crash.

Uncertain times for stock holders it seems...

Oil keeps dominating most days. This was evident yet again today, when the DOE inventory data release prompted a reversal affecting both European and US indices that otherwise had been trading downward all day until that point...
