In related news, fiverr is in the news

Quoting
Amazon is expanding its campaign against fake product reviews posted on its website.
The online reseller is suing more than 1,000 people who are "misleading Amazon's customers" by selling "fake reviews of products," according to a complaint the company filed in a Seattle court on Friday.
The lawsuit targets account holders on Fiverr.com, a marketplace for odd-jobs where "gigs" are sold for $5 and up. Amazon (AMZN, Tech30) doesn't know who is behind the accounts so lists them all as "John Doe" in the suit.

Ron, I am sorry to hear about your loss. I have reviewed WorldCupChampionships.com in the past. In my opinion, it is gambling and not trading. All their rankings are based on net return, without any considerations for drawdown. I would rather pick a trading system with 35% gain and 15% drawdown vs. a trading system with 164% gain with 80% drawdown.

Actually, for serious traders that trading contest is really about goals and objectives - designing a strategy that could potentially win the contest, given the rules. At least that is how I looked at it, and I know others who have won it looked at it the same way.

If the contest criteria was return/drawdown, or any other metric, the objective would still be to design a strategy that would win. Certainly I would have traded differently if the criteria were different.

To me, goals and objectives are the most critical part of trading - and the part most people neglect.

Good Luck!

. I have checked these guys out several years back and was not so impressed with their backtesting results.

So you've been searching for "several years" already and you still want to ask others for a robust/profitable trading strategy ? It may suggest something when you've looked for years and havn't found anything. A different approach might be more helpful perhaps ?
