On a 'lighter note', Leonardo DiCaprio is going to produce a film about the VW scandal, Paramount and Appian Way (owned by DiCaprio) bought the rights to the book that Jack Ewing is going to write... Actors and producer not yet known

I'm finishing the very end of Inception right now (seen it a few times). When I read your post, Leo was on screen.

Inception! We need to go deeper...

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

Saw the movie on my last flight to Singapore... nice movie

@Big Mike, my wife followed 6 days of training last week, about 'intuitive communication' with animals for
example with a dog, teacher was Dr Anna Evans, fabulous the type of things that are possible
with our mind...

News from VW headquarters

They made a confession that there was not only a fraud software between 2009-2015
but also the 'to be launched' models of next year have a problem...

It think that that production can be put on hold, until a redesign is finished...

That will hurt the numbers and future cash flow
and the factories will halt.. if not quickly solved by engineering...

VW now is now facing a mandatory recall in Germany:

Very Bad news for them.

Bob.

These figures do not show the total market cap, but only take into account the free float of the ordinary shares issued by Volkswagen.

If you add preferential shares (with voting rights) and shares held by large investors, the market capitalization would be over twice as high.

The VW cars with fraudulent software, are being recalled **mandatory** in multiple countries.
I read comments of people who thought.. i 'll just skip the update, but now it becomes mandatory
then you are left with a car that is not according to the conditions when you bought it (consumption/
power).

One guy started a court case to recuperate his money
Would be curious to see the outcome...

In case of fraud, you most often loose a case
but as this has such big impact on is so far spreading...
this will be at least interesting.

The good news of the recall is that first cars will be called from January 2016...
It is foreseen to clear all problems within 2016...

The bad news according to a spokesman of VW is the fact that a special part
of the supplement equipment for some of the cars will be released not before
september 2016.

All the new diesel models foreseen to launch beginning of 2016 have still no
certification and can therefore not been sold.

Santa seems to have a lot of work next year.

update : Board of VW and labour council of VW are studying options to lay-off staff

Temporarily and contractors will be first
but most likely some permanent staff will have to be cut also

A savings program that was already started before
will be executed in an accelerated way...

Coming back to the start of the thread, what would be the impact to the German economy ?
