Does anyone know of a place where I can find other traders to connect and trade with in a live environment? Hopefully a smaller group, and NOT a guru trading room.

topsteptrader has their own chat room, theres a main room and then smaller rooms for different product categories. All futures traders there.

Understanding yourself is just as important as understanding markets.

Try https://www.bmt.to, I hear it's great, something like 70,000 traders and about 8,000 of them use the site daily, or so I've been told
