Do you mean from previous trades?
Or is there another 'text' marker?

Create the chart you want, then right click, templates, (save as default)

fyi.... text and markers is in charts properties

Yes, the previous trades. It shows the text and markers that I want to clear off.

This does not take away the previous trade info. I use a template but the previous data shows always.

If you are doing Sim trades it will not matter if you do this.
But you have to 'reset' the database.
This wipes out historical trades.
If you don't mind loosing them then do this:
TOOLS > OPTIONS > DATA tab
Click the button Reset DB.

A warning will popup. READ IT.

If you agree, then click the button.
It will reset the DB and wipe out the trades.

EDIT:
randyjb is correct. I was looking at NT7.

David.. I think it is the MISC tab rather than the DATA tab... unless it has changed on Vers.7 or something.

Happy Trading,
Randy

Thank you very much. So as I understand, the data will get reset if I do this on real trades too.

Hi Dave,

I'm on NT7, when I right click a chart and bring up the properties I don't see a field for text or markers anywhere on the menu. hmmm...
