I know Dilson addressed the question to me (I believe he's referring to the ADX number), I would appreciate your taking care of this for me please. When I was using your set up, I seldom paid attention to the ADX numbers (left and right). Thank you.
Note to Dilson: Perry is the creator of the set up/thread. You will get more from him directly.
If your question refers to the number in the BOX on the left side, then this is the ADX indicator. If it is RED you do not take trades as it is below 25 and if it is green then you can take the trades, AS LONG AS ALL YOUR OTHER INDICATORS ARE OK.
I've made some slight variations to Perry's basic template.
I thought I'd share it with followers of this excellent thread. Nothing earth shattering, but I find it helpful and it may inspire others.
Additions:
An additional JeffsUniversalMovingAverage with ma set to sma 40. I make the ma invisible but set the background up color to light green to reinforce/remind myself of primary trend
Big Mike's OBVDiver. Although Perry's method is very price focused, this indicator may provide additional perspective and edge to trading.
thanks Perry, going thru this thread and trying to add/delete indicators etc while im progressing through the thread. Question, if one to use tic charts such as 377, 400 etc on the ES, would I have to change the settings on some of these indicators? such as the ADX, -/+ DM, FroceIndex etc etc.......
