Xev,

If you still have an issue with MM indi on your range chart try to set MM lines to be calculated hourly. Open MM lines indi and change Calculate Pivot Hourly? True. I hope this would help. I'm using MM lines on all my charts and I find that MM is very good to use for my targets.

I hope this would help.

Hi Perry and everyone.
I'm just sorting my way through carefully entering trades in SIM according to the Mark2 version of the system and although the rules state to ensure the force indicator is in agreement - they don't specifically require that you are not in chop?
I suppose that is a given that just wasn't included in the rules.
I am finding though that if I wait for the color change on the DMplus_3a the trade is well away from a good entry.
Is this indicator used and if so how?
Thanks
Doppio

Doppio,

I have not looked at the DMplus_v3a, so cannot comment. I watch the LINES on the DM indicator. Your MAIN entry is the Price action according to the rules, and only then do your see if the ForceIndex and DM give me extra collaboration for the trade.

MURREY MATHS:

I have seen over the past few weeks a lot of questions regarding the Murrey Maths. The version that is downloadable from this board or from Ninja Support, is a version that does not take into account days that are VERY volutile, this is the reason sometimes the MM lines disappear or if your scroll up or down you will find them bunched up together. The reason is that they are not recalculating as the actual price moves.

MM lines can be exceptionally useful if used correctly, for Prfit taking, for tops and bottoms, for reversals etc.

There is an excellent version of MM that can be found at www.integrity-traders.com Go to this site and ask for the MM version. I beleive that you can test it for a certain amount of time. Good luck.

Hi Perry

I wonder if you could outline your current template in written form.
I can then put together a v7 template and post it.
I am having some issues trying to get my chart to match some of those posted.
Just a list of indicators, settings and then a basic pic of this is what it currently looks like.
Thanks.

First of all you can go to post #2, that is now a collection of all the indicators.

The current setup is:
ForceIndex (EMA 13)
Murray Maths
Price_line indicator V2
JtRangeMarker
EMA (5)
JeffsUniversalMovingAverage (EMA 20)
TheAboxForRange(5,20,25)
DMplus_v2(3)

What indicator draws those arrows and what does it signify?
