An excellent entry is when the ADX crosses one of the Dm lines from the bottom coming out of chop.

Subtle but significant.
Thank you, Perry.

Method 1 question

Hey Perry! Quick question - In a method 1 trade, if the FI and DM do not confirm until a couple bars after the setup bar and way past the highest of past five bars prior to the setup bar, do you enter or wait for a continuation trader later? Thanks and sorry for the ignorance. SS

Housekeeping

(1) The ADX/AboxForRange/Rangebar number in the lower left box is always Green.
What adjustment do I need to make to the parameters so that when less than 25
it turns Red? I've posted my settings on the attached screenshot.

(2) Wish I could get a warm and fuzzy feeling from the jtRangeMarker in terms of knowing
where that last candle will close. Sure there's a footprint around the candle but I haven't
really figured out where it will close. I'm wondering if one of my settings is off. I've attached
a screenshot of those parameters, too. Maybe I'm being too picky or my eyes haven't
adjusted to looking at it yet but something feels off (unlike the DonchianRectangle, which is a
real assistance for me.)

(3) What session template is preferable?

(4) "Calculate on Bar Close" in the Parameters should be True or False for all Indicators?

Thanks very much.

basicly its like this :

if the price touches the marked high or low of this box, a new candle will start.

the trick is the current candle will not close on the borders of this box but the new candle will open at this borders.
the current candle will close when price has done more than 4 ticks.

so you know where it will have its close but if it is closed the price is minimum 1 tick away from this BarClose.

so you can enter at the Close of the closed Bar if price comes back or you enter where the new Bar opens (at the box-border)

Thanks very much.

The ADX color will change from GREEN to RED according to the Threshold number in the indicator. If you put the threshold to 25 and not 14 it will change.

The Jtrangemarker puts a samll rectangle around the current bar showing the top and botttom expected extremes. If you put price = TRUE it will show the price level as well instead of trying to look for the price of the top or bottom. It is very accurate and you can put buy and sell orders at these levels. If the level moves you ajust your order entry.

Session template 24/7

I put all my indicators as Calculate on bar = FALSE.

If the DM and FI do not confirm and are a couple of bars off, you do not have an entry. a couple of abars off means you are way out.

I'm not sure why you want to use jtRangeMarker? This method does not enter on bar close.

Why do you need jtRangeMarker? This method does not enter on bar close.

If you setup bar is also the entry bar then you can place an order even before the bar closes, as you can see the exact entry price
