Full time Trading in Futures Margin account requirements
I have been Trading Futures Part time since 1995, and would like to Transition to Trading
Full time in the Futures markets with Margin account.
As a Speculator Trading Full time with Margin account, do i have to be Employed, or have a
Day job?
Or can this be satisfied with enough capital, or Liquid Net worth level?
Reason i am asking is Brokers want to always know your Employment status here in the States.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
It's the combination of your net wort, liquid net worth/other earning, past trading experience in other asset classes, etc.

Thanks mattz......how can i be sure of what is needed based on those combinations?
are there specific amount of Capital that should be in account, or specific years experience, or specific level of net worth that Brokers, or Government requires to Trade Futures full time without a day job?
You are most welcome. However, your follow up questions are FCM and broker specific, and not related to the government. I suggest that you narrow your choices as far as brokers, and call them directly to discuss your truthful financial situation so they can decide if they can accommodate you (we hope to be amongst your choices).
Best of luck,
Matt
