Mike can't you see who voted for which option? I think maybe if I were programming this site I'd have a secret list of polls each person answered to validate whether or not there are any ... discrepancies in their answers. For instance if someone answered "I like Ice cream" or I scalp because "all my friends are doing it" and then they answer this poll saying they are a quant then there's a great likelihood they aren't lol. But then again, Maybe there are quants who like ice cream and scalp because all their friends are doing it.

I didn't see ice cream as an option in this poll?

Basically what I'm trying to say is that perhaps Mike has the ability to see all the polls that a specific person answered and he can then see if they answered other polls with bogus answers to then determine whether or not the person was being honest or just goofing off. Something like that. I like ice cream was an option for another poll.

Well I know that you are doing more quant-related stuff. But would you consider yourself a quant? Maybe a hybrid? The uberquant is probably @artemiso and I don't see many other posters with his type of content.

I'm afraid I don't live up to your expectations. I voted "What's a quant?"

No I cannot see this, votes are not tracked in this way. All I see is the vote result like you guys.

1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.

I knew that answer would be abused by the smart ass guys! It's similar to the "I like ice cream" option from prior polls.

Someone that pretends they're not a speculator? Heck, it's Friday.
