The 1% May Be Richer Than You Think, Research Shows - Bloomberg ( I've heard of a lot of discussions in the UK at least of how the govt are looking to tackle income inequality, but then they are mostly funded by the wealthy, so seems a bit disingenuous. Proposed policies include: Tax of savings (a la Cyprus), increasing the top rate of tax from 45% to 50%+, reducing corporation tax waivers, property tax on 1m properties.
