Would this be a good option to "host" my copy of NT and access it via something like an ipad or perhaps a chromebook? I know nothing about cloud computing or what the requirements might be for trading on the input device. Basically I am trying to see if I can get my trading truly location independent and be able to access my trading from any device anywhere.
I wanted to provide a quick post regarding some great service. So to prequalify my position, I have no financial interest in the following business nor do I benefit from this posting in any way, only wanted to share with others …
Or just do a search on nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) for VPS.
I've been happyish with Speedy's computers. (1gig of ram with ninjatrader and my bad code is laughable)
Doing anything on the weekends is sloooooooooooooooooow given the servicing schedule.
Speedy at 60 bucks a month to start out is a low hurtle to jump though one might find other resources for less with a good search though customer service may vary.
I deal with AWS a lot, watch out for that free tier. It is given very low priority network/cpu wise. Basically built for developers to prototype.
I haven't used speedy's but if you're wanting to trade in the cloud definitely pick a host like that with servers near the exchanges. Basically a provider that understands the traders needs.
