I have two 24" monitors (1920x1080) which I find to be sufficient for trading one instrument (ES)

using 1 laptop monitor and 2 16" monitors. lately, i've been focusing on reading the DOM so i am good with just the laptop. but when i need more market DOM, charts and analyzers, i would use the 2 extra monitors.

I use two 24" monitors for a few hours during the day.
I use an Asus laptop in the late afternoon/evening.

Very simple setup for me. I have 4 charts up to
see the full picture. I scan through each instrument
until I see something worth putting on watch/trading.

2 monitors 23" on my left for charts, 17" for work / watching films.

Also a Ipad Mini 8.9 3g ( incase of internet outtage ) I trade off ( can go for a walk while holding trades and monitor ) and a Nexus 7 available if more screen estate is needed.

Need a bigger house, then I'll run 4

I utilize four four 27" HP Pavillion 27xi backlit monitors for my trading/charts, plus two additional monitors for news and information. You might check into the HP Pavillion 27xi, as it offers vivid performance with full HD with 1920 x 1080 resolution, at a good price point (around $270).

I only use two 17" HP monitors turned vertically, bordering one 22" samsung.

Definitely would benefit from one more screen. I will most likely upgrade to 3-4 larger monitors in the future.
