I use the Logitech G13 programmable keyboard and it works great. It has 25 buttons, and a small thumbwheel joystick. I have all of the order entry commands programmed and I use the joystick to move a pending order up/down. I think they are about $75.00. You can program 3 different profiles and switch between them with the press of a button.

HI @DanW,

I just bought a G13 on your recommendation and am wondering how you programmed it ? What sort of key mappings did you use and are you still happy with it ?

Did you use the Ninja Hotkeys functions or did you make a custom script ?

I like to recline in my chair and trade with my feet up - its comfortable! Therefore, its a total pain in the butt to have to type stuff into a keyboard - means I have to sit up.
So I use a Logitech G600 mouse which was designed for gaming - but I use it for NinjaTrader and DisplayFusion, the best program I'm aware of for multi monitor setups. From my mouse, I can move windows to preset locations/sizes over my 4 monitors.
I also have a G710+keyboard which has a host of macro programmable buttons also for TWS etc

Good Stuff! I do think a programmable keyboard with shortcuts is necessary.

I am partial to actual physical keyboards. That are always ready.

Very cool Bango... but it looks like it was only sold in euros. Not that bad -- but we will pay for the exchange rate.

In the meantime i've made some theoretical studies of the UI design and the usability. My software based option via tablet was axed. I've learnt that you must feel the keys and you have to find them without seeking for them. Thats why the Hardware layout of the "Order management" keys should be fixed. So there isn't a need to complicate the things with the SmartSwitches. BUT i think i will utilize the OLED Panels only and apply a few of them on the keyboard. It can show the current selected instrument, Position info (for order management) or can implement some menu's for chart layout switching.

It is true... it would be awesome to have a dynamic super keyboard with STATIC Order Execution keyboard on the right side !

That idea would be pretty freakin epic. It will also be kind of expensive. ;o ;p but it will be very cool.

Finally my dreams come true. I couldn't do it better - the technology is evolving fast.

A picture says more than 1000 words.

It's a complete miracle why NinjaTrader doesn't work with that company to bring that cool stuff to their customers.

I'm just happy and have no financial relationship with that company.

It's a complete miracle why NinjaTrader ....

Koepish >>> You are using that expression wrong big guy. ;p Miracle is something good! VERY VERY GOOD! hehe I think you meant that >>> It's a tragedy/problem that NinjaTrader doesn't work with this company..." For a second, I thought you meant that NinjaTrader DID PARTNER with this company and were building something together.

AND YES >>> you are totally right!

I have been saying this FOR EVER >>> NinjaTrader needed to step up in the keyboard trader department! JUST LIKE THE ULTRA ULTRA professional trading stations from Banks -- but NinjaTrader

I love this keyboard over here: https://www.keymouse.com/

It is fully programmable and ultra ergonomic. :

HOW MUCH DOES THAT "StreamDeck Keyboard" COST? I couldn't find the sales page on their site? Where do you buy it?
