Is there a way or could a way be made so that users could follow the posts of specific members? I guess visiting the members profile and utilize "view all" by this member is the best/only way that I have found per the thread started by dakine Dec 2011. Ideas anyone?
there are a few guys where every post is meaningful. There are a few guys where most posts are meaningful. So I guess what I'd like is a personal newspaper of sorts...a way to see the must read gold without sifting through so much pay dirt.
Most days there are 250-350 new posts. I'd like an easy way to mine the gold.
True enough but then you might miss some of the unforgettable witty and educational banter.
For the record, I agree with the wldman, I too would like stalker capability added and in fact suggest that is exactly what we call it! Perhaps an elite member privilege...

I was thinking about making a thread about this but I figured I'd search for the idea because I know It's probably been asked before. It makes sense, considering that some people treat the forum collectively as a journal like Big Mike. Some people have great input wherever they go so it's worth following them like twitter or how other sites allow following. It might also add more traffic to certain threads in their beginning stages. I've noticed myself that some threads start taking off when market wizards or popular users start adding their input because people see their name connected to it on the right hand side when they look at the 'new posts' or 'today's posts' feed and figure it's worth taking a look at. So there is already a sort of following system in place, it would just be nice if we could subscribe to users like threads.
The only other way I know how to do this has already been stated - go to the user's profile and then to their statistics - Find all posts by 'User'
or you can click their name next to their post and select - find more posts by 'User'
