For someone brand new with day-trading and a trading platform that let's you utilize a Sim, does anyone have some pointers? What should i start fooling with first? How do i develop a method? It seems like many methods are trade secrets that require gobs of money to uncover. Not sure how i feel about that. I will pay in coffee! What are some good standard indicators that I should start practicing with? Thanks!

Welcome Matt,

since you asked how to start trading the ES Emini, i would like to point you directly to a website/youtube channel which shows a brilliant method which really works. It is free, too. You can buy a manual for 100 bucks, but this is not obligatory since you find the information also on the website and the daily youtube videos. The manual just accelerates the learning.

There are already some threads on nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) about Mack and his PATs technique:
