Whadda buncha' traders we are... I thought, and still think, the question was a very simple one, and though it was put to us in b- english I heard this,

< in a finite time period, and 'in-trend' periods are calculated identically for each instrument, which will come with highest, longest length of time in trend. There's no time period, except say 2000-2010 - but it was asked as a simpler everything equal 24/7 time perod, identical calculation of trend method for each intrument. one number comes out. biggest is his answer.

But I'm just here actually b/c I was laughing at myself .... I got the meaning above instantly, but then the responses started asking this and than, waxing poetic about ETM and RTH, ...and I suddenly totally doubted my original, simople assessment of a simple question, because other traders were on totally, more complicated level.

So then I did what I always do when I'm too scared to even think about how off track I am and suddenly how am I gonna feed the kids.... I went totally numb. Then, "Gawd I'm stoopidt"https://nexusfi.com/images/smilies/animated/faint.gif

*sigh* brethe with me lads... b'r'e'a't'h'e.......whew

Grains and Softs have some excellent short term trends inside of longer term ranges.

I totally agree ....my preferences though would be with the grains...specifically wheat, corn and soybeans.

Yep, grains have a bit more liquidity than softs. Scoping wheat down here.
Would be nice to go on a run like Beans just had.
