I am looking for a Sierra Charts programmer who can develop the study described below. The full specifications are provided in the attached file. Please contact me via private message with questions or pricing bid/proposals.
The study will need to capture the prior trading day's Value Area Low, High, and POC as calculated by Sierra Chart's TPO Value Area Lines study and create a file each day on the open of each day's first bar at midnight. This output file will be used by software outside of Sierra Charts for analysis. (That software is beyond the scope of this work request.)
Please see attached file for full requirements.
Thanks in advance,
-Tom
Notes:
- Each output file will contain a single row with the the data for one market for the preceding day.
- The study should be able to be attached to multiple charts and should be able to create multiple files without conflict for distinct instruments.
- The required file name, path, and contents format are described in the attached file.
- The TPO Value Area study properties to be used are described in the attached file.
- The Value Area levels generated will be for 24 hour sessions, midnight to midnight. This will be controlled by chart settings and should not need to be addressed in the study logic.
- Monday's file should contain the values for the preceding Friday. My intention is to use this on a Sierra Chart with the Load Weekend Data property unchecked so I don't believe any special programming logic will be required.
- Logic for handling Holidays and contract Rollovers will be the subject for future enhancements.
