Hi.
I was trading the ES in the 4 of July and it was a positive day even if it was a low volume day.
Can you please explain why its not recommended to trade in low volume?
Thanks in advance

Usually it becomes a slow grind up environment but usually it can also become a stop hunter's paradise. Just choose your usually carefully!

You can get gaps in price. Volume facilitates getting in and out of positions at the price you want. ES is very liquid so even on a low volume day probably not to bad but like @ratfink mentioned probably will grind around. Plenty of days to trade better to skip conditions that are not optimal in my opinion.

"The day I became a winning trader was the day it became boring. Daily losses no longer bother me and daily wins no longer excited me. Took years of pain and busting a few accounts before finally got my mind right. I survived the darkness within and now just chillax and let my black box do the work."
