Are you at an all-time high, like the Dow?

Recently the Dow hit an all-time record high.

The poll question is -- what about you? Are you at an all-time high in your life? I left the question open ended so everyone can decide for themselves what that means.

Vote on the forum homepage, discuss here.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

I am at all time low in trading and came here at this forum. I am very hopeful that slowly but surely things should turn around.

Sorry to hear that. I recommend reading this thread front-to-back:
https://futures.io/elite-circle/11125-ask-any-trading-question.html

And also start watching webinars on futures.io (formerly BMT), there are something like 100 of them.

Sorry to hear that Art. I thought you were an HFT quant and therefore automatically profitable?

... always good to remember that markets top out on euphoria, and bottom out on despair.

Successful people will do what unsuccessful people won't or can't do!

It's not as bad as it sounds, the daily drawdowns are actually shallower, it's just more difficult to buy high and sell low in this environment. (: It's more profitable to be structuring toxic waste and selling them as diversification products at this time...

Congrats!!

The personal situation is very correlated with trading results / AND/OR / risk management indeed.
If life is on the sunny side - trading results are easier positive.
On the other hand with a dense situation the trades are many times on the bad side.
