FuturesTrader71 had some good things to say in a straight talking webinar this week . One of the gems from it was a new expression for me - Harmonic Rotation.
Once he said it I knew of course what it was .. and I have indeed offered up many a stop loss to the spirits of Harmonic Rotation.
How can I obtain the Harmonic Rotation statistic for my market and the relevant session for my market ?
regards

Hi Mike,
Are there any details on the content of this link i.e list of points addressed, agenda etc.
I am trying to determine the correct method for statistical analysis and am starting with Harmonic rotations - per an October webinar with FT71 .
I think this link points to what I need but was hoping for some clarification before signing up to elite.
Thanks in advance.

Checking the link in post #3, it is a 64 page thread. Nobody is going to summarise it.
Did you look at the link in the next reply? Post #4. I remember doing this at somepoint off the FT71 info. Compiling a harmonic rotation study, as long as your charting package can output the raw data to start with, is not complicated with basic Excel competence.
Regarding Elite membership, you have been a basic member for a year and a half. If you still can't decide whether there could be any value/benefit/knowledge gained from paying the nominal fee to read and watch the extra content, then I would say the answer for you is that it probably isn't worth signing up.

Thanks. I didn't realise it was a thread. I did follow the steps in post 4 but have not achieved results consistent with the worked examples so wanted to determine where I'm going wrong.
I did sign up some time ago yes but haven't been particularly active tbh. I only became aware of the elite thread when clicking the link above but I appreciate your input.
Cheers

I have attached studies I did for the Nasdaq and for Crude. I produced them a few years back and can't say that I have looked at them recently but did find it a useful exercise in getting to know Excel better. They might be helpful to you to see if there are any major differences in our working out.

This looks great. After gathering all the data, what have you changed in your trading, and how have you used the data to improve your trading? Could you give us some specific examples?
Thanks for putting in the time and sharing
