If you use the main search menu and search for say "ZiNonLagMa" it will not find the indicator of that name posted in the NT Indicators sub forum.
However if you do a search on this word from WITHIN the NT Indicators sub forum, it will find it.
Why does a search at the highest level not find an indicator posting titled with that word?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?

steve,
The top-right box searches thread titles only. If your query is not in the title, it will not be found.
There is a more advanced search in the navbar. It's labeled "Search", the button is between "New Posts" and "Quick Links" on the top navbar. Click it, then click Advanced Search. By default it searches your query/keyword inside posts, not just threads.
For popular terms, you can also do the Cloud Tag Search, also under the Advanced Search. You can input the query as a tag and see if any thread has been tagged by it.

Mike, that is exactly where I searched for it and it does not find the indicator titled with this name in the Indicator sub forum. I even used Advanced Search and ensured it was checking all forums and sub forums.
Try it yourself - I am sure I am not going mad.
Tag search does not find it either, but I understand that one.
It's as though the main search menu is ignoring the download sub forums in it's searching????

Steve,
Yes neither of those two search the Downloads section. It's a limitation of vBulletin, the Downloads section is an add-on.
To search Downloads, click on Downloads on top left of navbar, then click Search on the sub-navbar (the one below the main navbar). This will search within the Downloads.

Second Page of alphabetical search cannot be accessed.
I have noticed this several times.
If you search an indicator for NinjaTrader by selecting the first letter, say S, the search will display a selection of indicators starting with S.
However, as there are lots of indicators starting with S, scrolling down will not produce the indicator I have been looking for.
When I try to access the second page of my search, this produces all sorts of indicators, but none of them starting with S.
Either this is a bug or a user error. Could somebody help out.
Example: Find the Session VWAP indicator for NinjaTrader 7 via alphabetical search.

To me if I type only one letter did not produce results, but if i type se it will appear a scroll menu with all the word starting with se:
On the first page there are indicators that does not start with S, cos there's no way to search only on title...
Take your Pips , go out and Live .

Hi Luke,
thanks for the answer, but I am lazy.
I searched by using the alphabetical list and it did not work.

It is a known bug and one that won't be fixed as the author is dead.
For advanced users the work around is to click the filter letter you want (ie "A" or "S" or whatever), then let that page come up, and at the end of the URL manually append &pp=100. This sets the per-page to 100 to get rid of the pagination.
