This is the nature of trading forums, humans and $$
You do something good for the trading community and then they question your motives, those who like you are called followers and then they discuss how much money you make.

futures.io (formerly BMT) was one of those places where business owners like me, software vendors, and educators have started being accountable for product, service and the fees charged.

No, I don't agree with all the policies in places and all the threads, but I also learned to respect other people's efforts and the way they want to lead their business. Quite frankly, I hope Mike makes a mil, because I still believe that if you had the idea, motivation and the work ethic then the sky should be the limit.

to all you guys who are busy with BS, real estate is cheap ...time to move out of the parents basement.
To all my friends around the world who have been here with me for years who still help each other out of sheer reciprocity and kindness, keep rocking!

Trading futures and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. You may lose more than your initial investment. All posts are opinions and do not claim to be facts. Please conduct your own due diligence. Use only Risk capital when trading Futures.

And it's not 2, but now 3 labs!!!

He got 3 now?

Maybe he put them on an 8 hour shift to stop him from overtrading.

You will probably end up losing that $50 a few hundred times over learning to trade. If you actually listen to what Mike has to say about trading on this forum you will lose $1000s less. I know that much personally. So my $50 has already paid for itself over and over again.

Is the toolmaker a good sculptor? Is the piano maker a good pianist? Is the guy who codes brilliant indicators a good trader? I have no clue, whether @Big Mike is a good trader, but I believe that he is an excellent moderator for this forum. I also believe that his main interest in running the forum is to facilitate the exchange between traders, not to make money.

+1

@Big Mike probably did not make any money with his first trade, but things have improved since then .....

I've learnt more on this site than all the other books and forums i've read combined. Big Mike's posts are generally extremely informative and I always make sure I read them in detail, but it's the community that makes this site great.

$50 for a lifetime membership is pocket change when you consider what else is out there.

For me personally, whether or not Big Mike is profitable is irrelevant because he is not trying to sell anything, he is providing a platform for a knowledgeable and helpful community to engage.

Another massive point worth noting is the effort he puts into getting the best of the best to do webinars. Im a webinar junkie and there is so much cr@p out there which I usually stop watching after 15mins. Webinars on futures.io (formerly BMT) however are always of an extremely high quality.

Thank you for caring enough to reply, all. It's not about the $50 at all. It's about my time. There are probably thousands of good and great trading ideas at this forum and elsewhere. I could spend 1,000 hours in 2013 reading posts and watching webinars here hoping that something will advance my trading education. How to make the best use of our time - to try things out for a while and see if it feels good? It's a better use of my time to ask someone who knows (Mike) to show me some proof that what is being presented (at least by them) is factual. There's no harm in asking for facts in the trading services industry. More of us should insist on knowing facts about our teachers / mentors before investing our most precious commodity: time.

You claim yourself to be an advanced trader. Are you profitable? I am not profitable, but I will never reveal my finances to anyone and would never ask you too. That is very personal. Big mike is not trying to sell you anything. Is he a profitable trader or not? I have no idea, but he clearly does not run another “emini” trading scam website. Does he make money off the website? I hope so. He puts in a lot of work in here. I know he is a Democrat and does not believe in profitJ (no hate mail please) He is a good free marketer/capitalist as we all should be. I don’t know him at all and he does not know me, but he seems like an honest person from posts I have read. Being an advanced trader you should be able to tell the difference between BS. If you feel you are getting BS just move on. That is the nature off the free market we used to all be a part of…..
