World's richest woman says poor should have less fun, work harder
Just in case you were beginning to think rich people were deeply misunderstood and that they feel the pain of those who are less fortunate, here's the world's wealthiest woman, Australian mining tycoon Gina Rinehart, with some helpful advice.
"If you're jealous of those with more money, don't just sit there and complain," she said in a magazine piece. "Do something to make more money yourself -- spend less time drinking or smoking and socialising, and more time working."
Yeah, let them eat cake.
Rinehart made her money the old-fashioned way: She inherited it. Her family iron ore prospecting fortune of $30.1 billion makes her Australia's wealthiest person and the richest woman on the planet.
With all that money that she made from her ...ahem..hard work!!!!....you would think she would at least get her hair done!!!! maybe paint the barn door etc... Maybe try a fitness machine... Hmmmmm!!
I get what you are saying in the extent that if you want something bad enough etc etc etc... you work for it!! - I agree with that....However, under the current monetary system... there is a snow balls chance in hell that you will "make it" ...again under this system... for the typical American or what ever country you from where there is central bank involved... If you have a way... there are millions wanting to know.
Under the current monetary system, or more specifically, under our current economic system, it is more difficult than ever to attain financial independance. However, one look at this shows it's still possible. If not, why are we trading?
Thank you for posting this... I read it and had an epiphany ... all an old guy like me has to do is quit whineing, ... try harder and I too can be one of these guys...
All those folks with 10 billion or more are probably approached by the elite cabal , Illuminati or otherwise otherwordly forces, sometime. They are told specifically only certain candidates they can support in primaries, only certain technologies that can be invested in etc. So no serious private funded research into nuclear fusion, free energy, tesla energy and technology, restricted space program (where they never go to Cydonia on Mars or the wierd places on the dark side of the moon etc.) Something that's not on the current agenda until when they say it's ok to in their world agenda timeline.
But agreed with Victory Trader, anyone can say what that rich billionaire lady said; she just has a bigger voice because the media likes to report what billionaires say.
