Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

Could you please provide the link to the RichEaux bar type ?

Richard closed the 'Move the Market' site and is no longer providing the bar types or support for the system.
He had a version called PointO and it was the same bar type but worked on regular NT data.
You can find the regular PointO bars here:

The PointO is very similar to the RichEaux but does not use extended data.
The RichEaux and other 'Rich' extended data types are created with a special DLL that uses the extended data embedded in NT chart data. That means it does not require Gomi's package to see bid/ask data.

As far as I know, there are only a few people that have a license to use the bars and Richard is not selling them anymore. Maybe NT 8 will resolve the issue with data and the regular Point O will work this way.
