For me, it's quite easy to understand though I have to read it twice. Now I maybe able to interpret and learn how to use Adrien's MP indicator. Thanks to all for sharing your MP experiences in this thread!
I'm thrilled to have Adrien's MP indicator on a 30-minute ES chart. Need guidance on the following please:
1. How can I find the VPCs that have not been touched? To prepare the Natural Trading Range, I need to locate the Upper VPC and Lower VPC that are close to the Open Price.
2. I notice arrows for the Open and Close on your chart while mine does not have them. How to activate this feature please?
3. Since I do not witness a live chart with a MP indicator before (this can be a stupid question .. sorry), will the POC, VAH and VAL (3 prices of the previous day) be shown on the chart only after the market opens?
4. Parameters of the MP Indicator: I have 9 and 30 for the hours and minutes. Tried 7,5 (comma) for the session length and got an error message. Input 7.5 (period) instead and seemed working. Want to make sure that I have the setting right. Thank you.
by cons for the Open / Close (the indicator) and comma (NT), this may be that your operating system does not recognize the special characters.
Do you have Word installed on your PC?
I switched back to your original indicator and still 2 small rectangular boxes on the chart. My guess: one for Open and one for Close. Yes, the computer does not have MS Office and maybe that's why! Thanks. I'm going to try the indicator on my laptop which has MS Office and see if I may get the arrows!
After looking at the indicator/chart for some time last night, I believe the MP indicator will complete plotting the price histogram (all the square boxes) + POC, VAH and VAL end of day. Then for a new day, it will start plotting the new histogram etc as the day goes along. Am I right?
Regarding VPC (Virgin or Naked Point of Control), please confirm that I have to manually spot them and it's not part of the indicator. My trillion thanks again.
for the new session, yes, normal, it must wait for data to start a new profile.
For the VPC, it is not part of the indicator, you should look on the previous days and draw them yourself.

As a newbie to MP, your indicator incl the settings and logic on the NJ thread are extremely well-defined and easy to understand. Your generous sharing has definitely smoothened my learning path!
