Excellent question Mike. Surprised that the specs don't detail that.

I also use 3x 30" so this would be an interesting upgrade.
Dell have them on their website for $1199 but the U3014s are still $1599 ?!?!?

One question I would have is what graphics cards would you need. I recall that when we were looking at the 4k monitors the graphics card requirements where very high. It's not 4K but it's 20% more standard 2560x1600.

My 30's are 2560x1600, so this is actually less height (1440p) which really sucks, 3440x1440.

I think for trading 16:10 is the way to go. 16:9 is not terrible. But here, 3440x1440, we are 21:9 so really going the wrong way. But, I still think I could make it work with my charts.

The LG:
LG 34UM95-P: 34? Class 21:9 UltraWide? WQHD IPS Monitor (34.0" Diagonal) | LG USA

Is cheaper than the Dell, but it's not clear if it supports DisplayPort 1.2 MST.

Anyone, not my intention to derail the thread. I was hoping someone here could comment on using multiple curved monitors or provide some better pictures and first hand experience.

Mike

This is the reason why I want a furniture company or craftsman to begin making an adjustable trading desk. A trading desk that has a mechanical advantage to raise and lower the desk. My choice would be from near floor height for sitting on the floor, to the height of a standard desk for using a office chair, to standing.

Right now I either trade from a desk or sitting on the floor. In both situations I like to use one of those cushions that has an open spot for your spine. This seems to help my back.

An innovative craftsman could likely make one. Does anyone have contacts?

I believe a desk like this would save many a traders necks, spines and wrists.
The ability to trade from a coffee table height sitting on the ground(my preference) to sitting in an office chair or on a swiss ball(second preference), to standing.

Hi Guys,

Did upgrade my actual physical ''desk top'' ... Here are some pics:

Thanks to my brother and father who did actually extract the cedar themselves from the family land and made the wood pieces from their own wood mill saw:
