Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

niiiice!

This is a nicely designed room! My home office is designated around the same style.

PM with any questions about optimusfutures (800) 771-6748 (561) 367 8686. THERE IS A SUBSTANTIAL RISK OF LOSS IN FUTURES TRADING.

Love that desk, but two comments:

(1) The screens are already smoking, if you reduce the brightness to 50% you can save some power.

(2) I do not think that it is a real Rollei.

ROFL. You are very observant!

(1) The smoke was incense.
(2) Correct. The Rollei sits on another shelf, in a camera case so it doesn't collect dust.

Is the glass to isolate you from the rest of your home, or is that an office building ??

Love the rig

Its a office building, there is more space I could use but I like it behind the glass because it is silent and I focus better. I am moving to a new office in August, will post that once settled. I stopped trading from home back in 1999 once I went full time. I find working from an office helps me remember this is a job (one that I love) but still it needs the commitment and focus of a real career if I am to continually improve. Working from home I will let myself slide after some time, I would say its like wanting to be a world class athlete but wanting to only gym at home, it may work for some but for most myself included it would end in not realizing ones full potential due to a lot of reasons to long to list but for me a office that I need to go to is the only way to go.
