This is a sit/stand desk. The room is whisper quiet because the computer and audio receiver are rack mounted in the data closet downstairs. Pulled 6x100 feet runs of fiber optic cable to connect the displays. Pulled several ethernet cables for remote IR, headphone jack for audio, and USB over ethernet for keyboard/mouse and other USB devices. Also ran speaker wire for the in ceiling speakers. So far no issues in a year with this setup, crossing my fingers it continues to work well
The wires are nice and tidy at the desk, and in the closet, well, they're not as tidy but I don't venture there more than I have to anyway

Your commitment to cable management is god tier. That is BY FAR the cleanest setup I've ever seen. Serious Desk envy too. Killer setup!

Here's what I've got. 7 monitors. 6 are 4k. One at top middle is short & wide, but less resolution. Helps when I need something displayed much larger. NexusFi logo at top left.

BTW, I access 4 other PCs in my basement via RDP, each in its own Win11 virtual desktop space on my desktop.
This means that I'm actually working with 5×7=35 screens at any point in time.

How do you drive the video for that many screens?

I've had good luck with this product: Check this out on @Newegg:WAVLINK DisplayLink Laptop Docking Station, Quad Monitor 5K/4K@60Hz, 100W Charging For Thunderbolt 4/3, USB-C/A - M1 M2 Mac/Windows/Chrome/Ubuntu With 4 HDMI, 4 DP, 180W Power, SD 4.0 CR, 2.5Gbps LAN https://www.newegg.com/wavlink-wl-ug69pd5-black/p/1DN-0023-00083?Item=9SIA6PFFNF0609&Source=socialshare&cm_mmc=snc-social-_-sr-_-9SIA6PFFNF0609-_-03092024

Much less expensive than many internal cards. I've only utilized 1 at a time, but trying with 2 of them would be interesting. Motherboard would need to have more than average USB resources.
Come to think of it, 1 of these on the USB 3.2 bus and a 2nd on a Thunderbolt card would be the way to go.
I just may have to try this. 🤔

With serious technical challenges!

Have 3 video cards. 1x3080, 2x3070.

Windows wont natively support or the nvidia tools as well that many monitors. They will connect but each reboot they will randomly be arranged.

The proper way to do this is buy the professional level video cards but these are like $5000 each vs $500 each. I have a script and a tool i found that forces the video configuration on it about 4 times over each reboot.

Works great now. But took me weeks to setup.

As well it took a couple motherboards until i got one that was stable enough. Ended up with a asus aroc; basically the most overclockable aka super stable tested bios and hardware out there.

Will look the file tool for you when back at desktop

Daytrading setup - QT on screen

I use Quantower when I'm daytrading.
I also do backtesting for automated trading, and for that I primarily use Naked Markets, which you can see on one of my previous photos.
